  1. Ajax were bette team but didn't know how to shoot. Usual bus parking, time wasting tactics from Jose. wonder how many United fans crow about this seasons success, especially as the two trophies they won are the ones they look down on and say are Micky mouse game trophies lol
  2. Hopefully

  7. I will partake eventually, but got 200 games to play still, so when I've gone through those and the content in it matures I will invest
  8. I dont't think any of the FAs laws were broken in this happening, but is there something to investigate that would effect betting? What about all those people that that bet on times of substitutions, throw ins etc.. the players and clubs have arranged for a specific incident to happen in a game at a pre-determined time. Not being an arse here btw (although I can't stand Terry), just trying to provoke a conversation about it. I'm not a betting man but had this action affected my bet (which are all about chance) I would have been very annoyed
  9. Remember that goalkeeper from Sutton United who got sacked earlier this year for eating a pie? Pretty sure the FA and Gambling Commission ordered an investigation into that as there were odds on it happening - so why isn't this any different? I agree, does make you wonder what else has been "pre-arranged" Also, typical selfish action from Terry, turned what was a celebration of winning the title into everything being about him
  10. This was a very cowardly act, purposely targeting children - it's sick
  11. So we finished 2016 with a good win against City, we were tucked in behind Chelsea and were looking like a team that had an outside chance of a title bid. Teams were being blitzed by our play, we were (admitted by other fans) the best side to watch in the league, but then 2017 came and to say we are shit is an understatement. Things for me that need addressing are; The energy has gone from the team. We don't have a deep enough squad and whilst the youngsters are promising, they aren't good enough to rely on. Too many players hiding on the pitch - i've lost count of the times when no one gambled making a run or a forward pass, they just take the easy sideways ball. We have no plan B, which was something we didn't have under Rodgers as well. I think teams have got used to our pressing game. Klopp had the same problem in Germany, especially his last season with Dortmund where they were terrible. Teams just let us have the ball and defend deep knowing that we struggle to break teams down. There are no natural leaders in the squad. Yes Hendo is the captain, but there isn't one player that can either inspire or grab the game by the scruff of the neck and drag the team with him. We had it with Stevie G and historically with other players like Souness. Other teams had players like this - Adams, Keane, Vieira, Robson. I think they are a dying breed to be honest, the players are too pampered and act like kids if someone shouts at them. Reluctance to buy in January. Given the above and before our awful set of results in Jan, what the perfect time to strengthen the squad with the potential of a title win to persuade them. Yes quality is hard to get in January, but it can happen and there are good players available there for the right price - comes down to desire to win the league. Knowing us though, we will give Chelsea a good hiding, then go and lose to Hull
  12. What do you make of this FIFA investigation into the Pogba deal? The common denominator in it seems to be the agent here, who represents both clubs and the player, but what always has struck me as odd is United letting him go for free, then buying him back a couple of years later for 90m - who runs a business like that? give away an asset then spend enough to buy a small country to get it back So that transaction there, makes it feel a bit suspect to me I wonder what will happen
  13. Yeah I'm enjoying it
  14. Nope, was a sort of clan a few of us were in in the old 360 days
  15. Those were the days
  16. I feel the game is a bit too easy, overly reliant on using the drone which makes it easy to spot up all the enemies. In multiplayer I'd like to see it changed so if one person uses it, its locked for everyone else. But the other thing that niggles me are the heat maps, just showing up where enemies are before you have properly seen them However, slap that badboy on Extreme and the heat maps disappear. You have to approach the game differently. Played a bit last night with Meds and even when you felt that you had all the enemies identified, we still missed some as they were in places drones didn't pick up, or you just didn't see them coming on the map. I'd encourage everyone to use this level if you don't want to breeze through the game
  17. Ryse is a good game
  18. What is it?
  19. I have Sky. Used to have Virgin, then wife went to work for sky and we got everythign free. But when she left we stayed with Sky. Okay their speed isn't as fast as Virgin, but speed isn't everything IMHO. What we get is a consistant connection. Speed always stays the same, its always up, never have any router problems, think I've had an issue with NAT settings like twice in 5 years. I've currently got Fibre Unlimited - 38MB D/L upload is 10MB and they never throttle your connection (like Virgin tend to do at busy times of the day)
  20. I think the FA got the bans for Mings and Ibra wrong. What I mean by this is that in giving Ibra his ban, they have totally ignored his attempted stamp on Mings moments before and also ignored him throwing Mings to the ground earlier in the match. So why didnt' Ibra get 8 matches? Still if the ref dealt with the original action of Ibra throwing Mings to the ground earlier in the game like he should have done, then this wouldn't have happened.
  21. Again two matches yesterday where Refs made shocking decisions that they should have been getting right. Swansea v Burnley Burnley have a corner, cross comes in, Burnley player clearly handballs it, ref givs Burnley a penalty - wtf!!! Man U v Bournemouth Where to start here. Ref books Surman for clearly winning the ball, mistake 1 Then in this passage of play; Ibra looks to stamp on Mings - red card not given Mings get up and stamps on Ibras head - how was that not a red card.* Ibra takes justice into his own hands and elbows Mings from the resulting corner - how was that not a red card Players all get handbags and Surman puts his hands on Ibra who goes down like a sack of spuds and the ref gives Surman another yellow and sends Surman off compounding his first mistake. Ref misses a second penalty for United with a Bournemouth players hands above his head blocking a cross *Rooney was a twat in this saying after the game that he clearly saw it and Mings should have been sent off, despite replays clearly showing Rooney wasn't even looking in the direction of the incident. This along with Ibra going down like a sack of spuds is behaviour not normally associated with United, I smell Mourinhos dishonest influence here. Anyway, when on earth is video replays going to be introduced. We understand refs can make errors, but the size and frequency of this mistakes is getting ridiculous. Expect a rant next week
  22. Get your thermals out and get on the piss, I mean piste
  23. The wife and little one want to go for a caravan holiday this year - static not mobile. We went in one in Skegness a couple of years ago for a 3 day break (to test that our son could handle being away from home). it was okay but the weather was a bit shit. Anyone got any advice on where to go, a particular park for example and what spec for a caravan would be best in August. Do I need to sweat on things like double glazing and central heating which seem to add 2-3 hundred quid onto the price of the holiday. Yes I know it will be summer time, but we know the british weather is rather random
  24. What triggers that saving?
  25. Rumours circulating this will be made backwards compatible soon and with a bit of look in the EA Access vault I'd read online that the servers have been turned back on after being shut off three years ago. I hope its true as this was a fun game
